Groundskeeping - FULL & PART TIME

We're looking for:  Team members that are enthusiastic, hardworking, and absolutely love working outdoors.

roficiencies/Functions:
*You must work well with others.  
*Responsible for daily turfgrass management, primarily the mowing of all areas including greens, tees, fairways, and rough.
*Bunker maintenance involving raking (mechanical and hand), edging, trimming and sand replenishment.
*Daily set-up and maintenance of the golf course.
*General turf improvement projects that include divot filling and site preparation for seeding and/or sodding.
*Assisting with cultural practices including verticutting, aerating, and topdressing.
*Seasonal maintenance tasks such as painting, raking branches, leaf raking, and blowing leaves.
*Aid with the completion of any construction or renovation projects such as drainage, bunkers, cart paths, and tee boxes.
*Garbage/recycling removal is part of the job: includes removal from course and sorting.
*Regular upkeep and cleaning of maintenance buildings and course washroom facility.
*Manage the course in an environmentally responsible manner that includes assisting with Audubon projects and following integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
*Must work well independently with minimal supervision.
*Must be completely willing to undertake any duties within the general scope of the position.
*Must have steel-toe work boots.

Minimum Qualifications:  Must be available April to November, with varying hours and days.  Required to work weekdays, plus one weekend morning.  Shifts may last from 3 to 10 hours.  Reliable transportation is a must (we are not on any bus routes).

Line Cook - FULL & PART TIME 

We're looking for:  A team player that is enthusiastic, detail oriented, hardworking, and absolutely passionate about cooking great food.
Proficiencies/Functions: Top notch listening skills, ability to follow instructions independently and accurately, must be willing to work as part of a larger team, set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, clean up station and properly store leftover food, ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion, excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures, accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, must perform kitchen maintenance tasks such as taking out the garbage/recycling, washing kitchen utensils and pots/pans, perform scheduled cleaning tasks, need sound knowledge about safety and health guidelines (you MUST possess safe food handling certificate), ensure that the necessary hygiene and health standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
Minimum Qualifications: 1 year Line Cook experience, Must be available from April - October.  Reliable transportation is a must (we are not on any bus routes).

Kitchen Assistant - PART TIME 

​What we're looking for:  
A team player that is hardworking and willing to learn. 
​Proficiencies/Functions: This person will run the salad station, dessert station, and dish washing station during busy shifts.  The kitchen assistant will be responsible for assiting the line cooks in various capactities.  The successful candidtate will be required to perform scheduled cleaning tasks to the satisfaction of the general manager.
Minimum Qualifications: Reliable transportation is a must (we are not on any bus routes).  Must be available from April - October. 

Server - FULL & PART TIME 

We're looking for:  Team members that are enthusiastic, hardworking, and absolutely passionate about people.  The main job entails attending to all needs of the Restaurant, primarily providing our members and guests with an outstanding food and beverage experience.

roficiencies/Functions:
*Good communication skills - you MUST enjoy talking to people.  We are a busy course and you will encounter hundreds of people every day.
*You must work well with others.  We heavily promote a team environment.
*Good organization skills - you need to manage your section with little support.  This includes order taking, beverage and food delivery, clearing dishes, cheque delivery, and collection of payment.
*Must be detail oriented.  Must carefully record orders, correctly ring in items, and know prices of all products.
*Cleaning is part of the job.  During down time there is side work that must be completed.
*You will be accountable for balancing your cash and inventory.   
*At times, you must work well independently with minimal supervision.
*You will need to work weekday, weekends, and holidays.  Shift work is required.
*Must be completely willing to undertake any duties within the general scope of the position.
Minimum Qualifications:  Customer service experts are urged to apply.  Must be available for all shifts. Must be available April 1st to October 31st.  Hours may begin at 7am and extend as late as 10:30pm.  Reliable transportation is a must (we are not on any bus routes).

​Pro Shop Attendent / Customer Service​ - FULL & PART TIME

We're looking for:  Team members that are enthusiastic, hardworking, and absolutely passionate about people.  The main job entails attending to all needs of the Pro Shop, primarily greeting guests and members, processing green fees, and assisting with merchandise sales.
Proficiencies/Functions:
​*
Good communication skills - you MUST enjoy talking to people.  We are a busy course and you will encounter hundreds of people every day.
*You must work well with others.  We heavily promote a team environment.
*Good organization skills - you will be required to multi task.  Our Pro Shop staff handle all phone calls, tee-time check-ins, range monitoring, starter duties AND marshal duties.  It's a busy job!!
*Must be detail oriented.  Must carefully record things, correctly ring in items, give correct change, know prices of product.
*Must be computer literate (point of sale system, tee time booking system).
*Cleaning is part of the job.  This includes folding clothes, restocking merchandise, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of displays and fixtures.
*Must be willing to learn sales (entries for club events, range balls, and merchandise-shoes, gloves, bags, and clothing).
*You will be accountable for cash balance in register.  
*Emphasize and enforce course etiquette and pace of play standards.
*At times, must work with minimal supervision.
*You will need to work weekends and holidays.
*Must be completely willing to undertake any duties within the general scope of the position.
