Thursday Seniors

League Format and Prizes

• The league will run every Thursday morning from May 2^nd to September 26^th (22 weeks).
• Tee times are available on both nines between 8am and 10am.  Weekly “set” tee times will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.  Priority registration will be given to returning members.  Note: Sawmill members had advance registration if the league entry was paid with membership fees.
• The weekly fee for non-members will be $43 (tax included) which includes a $5 prize fee. 
• All money collected as prize fees will be returned to the players as gift certificates or prizes. 
• We will award weekly prizes (Pro Shop gift certificates) for player’s scores, the Game of the Week and course contests.  As this is not a competitive league, we will pick random winning scores each week (ie. 1^st place, 14^th place, 30^th place and most honest).  First place can only be won once.  The weekly Game of the Week and course contests will vary and cater to players of all abilities.    
• Each week, everyone who plays will be eligible for additional draw prizes – such as Pro Shop and restaurant gift certificates and free green fees.
• All gift certificates will be added to your profile in the Sawmill computer system.   
• Players can choose to play from any set of tee blocks.  However, course contests can only be won from the designated tee blocks. 
• There are no league handicaps as the winning scores are picked at random.
• Scores need to be entered on the Sawmill app following golf.  All scoring will be done by the Pro Shop staff.  Weekly winners will be posted online and in the clubhouse. 
• Year-end prizes will be awarded based on the number of rounds played.   You must play a minimum number of rounds to be eligible for year-end prizes and next year’s league. 

League Fees (HST included in all fees)

1)  Entry Fee: $50 (payable online starting Monday, December 4^th)           
2)  Weekly Fees:   a) Sawmill Members AND League Members: $5 prizes (payable weekly in the pro shop)
                               b) League Members: $38 for 18 hole Green Fee. 
NEW and IMPORTANT: All league members must purchase a “Thursday Seniors League Package” on March 1^st for 15 rounds.  The total for league members is $570 (15 rounds at $38).  Receive a FREE 16^th league round if purchased by March 10^th.  After 16 weeks, green fees will be $38.  Rounds are non-refundable but are transferrable to a guest.  Rounds are valid during Thursday Seniors league from May 2^nd to September 26^th, 2024. 

Practice Weeks

All registered league players are welcome to play practice rounds on weekdays in April, once the golf course opens (weather permitting).  Green fees will be $27 for 9 holes or $38 for 18 holes for league players.

Senior Championship

Thursday, October 3^rd.  9am shotgun.  18 holes, lunch, and a prize presentation.  Details will be announced later in the season.
